Vienna young Scientists Symposium

Awardees 2016

The best speaker of each research field was honored at the Science Dinner on Friday 10 June 2016. 300 EUR were awarded to each of the best speakers - as a small support of their own research. The decision about the best speaker was made by the audience during the sessions.

The awardees are:

with her talk entitled

Christian Hafner

for the research field Information and Communication Technology

with his talk entitled

EFFICENT SHAPE OPTIMIZATION FOR CONSUMER-LEVEL 3D PRINTING

Maeva Dang

for the research field Architecture and Urban Planning 

with her talk entitled

INVESTIGATING THE 5th FACADES IN VIENNA: A MODELISATION OF URBAN AGRICULTURE POTENTIALS

Additionally the Lions Club (Wien St. Stephan) awarded an outstanding doctoral thesis in the field Energy and Environment. The call for submissions and the decision about the awardees was made by a jury.

Michaela Killian

was awardes with the Lions Sonderpreis for her work

COOPERATIVE FUZZY MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL OF A MULTI-ZONE OFFICE BUILDING
